sooo finally yesterday I made tteokbokki! Or in fact, rabokki (ramyeon tteokbokki) because I put some noodles to the tteokbokki and mix it together with its sauce :3
so I used frozen tteok (rice cake) and instant sauce. I found the sauce in the same market as the tteokbokki itself (read previous post). The sauce contains hangul and english, but fortunately there was a label with my language to describe how to use it haha!
Basicly, you just need to boil more or less 300 cc of water. If you want the thick sauce, decrease the water. Because I don't like the sweet flavor if it turns out with thick sauce, I increase the water so the tteokbokki sauce came out more liquid. Back from the water, after the water boiling, just put the tteok and the sauce, then stir until cooked. Don't cook it too long because the tteok absorb the water. In my case, I also put the half-cooked noodle that I cooked before. You can also add onions and celery. Oh yeah, don't put the tteok while it still frozen!
Result!
It's delicious! Prefer this than my poor jjajangmyeon T.T the tteok is really chewy and the sauce is good. The sauce has a bit sweet taste (you can remove it with adding water) and also spicy. Well, because now I'm kinda love spicy, I really like it! My noodle also came well >.< my rabokki succeed!!!
well, are you interested to try it out? ~~~~XDXDXDXDXDXD
